After a looooong hiatus, I am back to reading! And would you believe it’s with something I’ve been wanting to read since August! This book has been with me for a really long time now, since I bought the three books from Bookchor last year…! And out of the three books I bought, I’ve managed to read only two. There just seemed so many other books to read before then 😛

World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks
I wanted to like this book, I really did. But it just wasn’t meant to be.
I’ll Walk Alone (Alvirah and Willy #8) by Mary Higgins Clark
Oh my god, such a ridiculous book! I might just never read another novel by Mary Higgins Clark again!
The Perfect Murder by Ruskin Bond
Another one for new year. This time it is a short story collection, all somehow related to murder—committing, witnessing, or solving a murder. There are quite a few well-known names: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Ruskin Bond, and Edgar Allan Poe. I cannot figure out the cover though… The title story is by someone else, not Ruskin Bond.
Before I Go to Sleep by S.J. Watson
Hello, 2018! My new year’s resolution this time is to just go back to my old hobbies, or rather, actually make time for my old hobbies. That includes reading, painting, and just plain making sure there is more to my day than just going to and back from work. To commemorate my new year, I finished this book (on Jan 01, 2018) that had been on my shelf for what feels like forever.
Carrie by Stephen King
Aah, Stephen King again… This time with a much better result… I still wouldn’t call this horror though.
We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson
Oh, what did I just read? I am going to be thinking about this for a long time. Some stories, no matter how much time has passed, stay with you. I have a feeling this is one of those stories…
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
So that’s what the fuss is all about!
Cujo by Stephen King
That moment when you realize it’s not really horror but a drama…
Keep the Ghost by Scott Kelly
That was like the worst ending ever! Is there a next part? Does the story go forward from where the author left it hanging???
Questions… So many question..!
