It has been a while…
I’m getting back to reading slowly. I did try a lot of other novels, but I seem to have lost patience for stories where the lead characters just jump each other without really having a conversation first. So here we are… a “SWEET & CLEAN” romance. I didn’t think of this phrase, the authors did.
Hello everyone! It’s been an eventful couple of days worldwide! America, my sympathies. We will all have to bear with this turn of events now. Wish there were a “RESTART” switch. But, well, this is real life.
For some reason I have decided to post this review today of all days. Guess I’m just pumped up after being online the whole day.
Let’s start with the review. I recently downloaded a bunch of romance novels on my Kindle, thanks to Bookbub that kept sending me mails about free Kindle ebooks. Â This was the only one I actually read. There wasn’t any particular reason for that. I just picked it randomly.
This is the first one in the trilogy featuring Aunt Honore. I have already read and reviewed the other two – Mistaken Kiss and Cut from the Same Cloth. These two were really great in their funny moments and entertainment value. And so I found is the first one in the series.
Oh dear… It’s been such a long time since my last post… Seems like ages. Truth be told, I needed the break. Plus, with my laptop acting up, it was the perfect excuse 😛
I’ll start this year’s review with another romcom novella: Truth or Date. A short and sweet story.
I might just have a new favorite author in the romcom category! After Julia Quinn, it is great to read romantic stories that actually make me laugh out loud.
