The Last Straw (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #3) by Jeff Kinney

Something different in the new year… Although technically it’s not new year anymore. I found this book at my parents’ place, among a pile of old books. This is one of my brother’s books, which I had never got around to reading. He does buy some interesting books!

Lady Fiasco (Regency Trilogy #1) by Kathleen Baldwin

This is the first one in the trilogy featuring Aunt Honore. I have already read and reviewed the other two – Mistaken Kiss and Cut from the Same Cloth. These two were really great in their funny moments and entertainment value. And so I found is the first one in the series.

I might just have a new favorite author in the romcom category! After Julia Quinn, it is great to read romantic stories that actually make me laugh out loud.

You know how it goes. There is no story, or a minimal storyline, and lots of sex. To be honest, sometimes the “bedroom” scenes are so frequent, I just skip it. Instead of giving you separate reviews, I’ll just combine the three books I read: The AgreementWhat Wendy Wantsand The Doctor’s Secret Bride.

I know, it seems like I had too much time. Quite the contrary though. I had very little time and even less inclination to commit to a story. Hence, this happened more out of boredom than anything else. (Isn’t that what always happens 😛 )

So let’s start!
